Spell Checker Property Page

The Spell Checker property page lets you specify which spell checker will be used (Internal Spell Checker or the one from MS Word) and enable/disable the option to check spelling while text is being entered in the Translation Edit bar.

Commands and Elements

Check spelling as you type Check Box

Check this option to activate the spell check in the Target Text edit field of the Translation Edit bar. Possible misspellings will be indicated immediately with red-colored font while text is being entered/edited.

MS Word Spell Checker Radio Button

Select this option to use the Spell Checker from Microsoft Word to check for spelling errors.

Internal Spell Checker Radio Button

Select this option to use the Spell Checker built in to RC-WinTrans to check for spelling errors.

Options Button

Opens the Spell Checker Options dialog box.

Dictionaries Button

Opens the Internal Spell Checker Dictionaries property page.

Spell check availability List Box

Displays a list of all target languages for the active translation project and indicates the spell check availability for each of these.

NOTE: The "MS Word" column remains empty as long as Microsoft Word is not running (started by RC-WinTrans in the background or manually on command).
