An API key allows the Machine Translator to access certain machine translation (MT) services. These are payable services offered by the respective companies.
As a courtesy to enable immediate use of the RC-WinTrans Machine Translator add-on, use of the Google Translate and Microsoft Translator services are initially paid for by Schaudin.com. The add-on uses Schaudin.com's API keys to access machine translations until the user acquires a personal API key and enters it in the Machine Translator's Configuration dialog.
Use of the Schaudin.com API keys has a daily limit which could be reached if a key is applied by too many RC-WinTrans users. If your use of the Machine Translator is frequent and extensive, please obtain a private Google and/or Microsoft API key and enter it in the Configuration dialog. Thank you for your cooperation.
To use the DeepL service your personal "DeepL Pro Authorization Key" must be entered in the Configuration dialog box.
To bill charges for use of the Google Translate API, Google issues a unique ("Google Translate" or "Google Cloud") API key through the user's Google account. Once you have been given an API key from Google you can enter the key in the Machine Translator's Configuration dialog.

To bill charges for the use of the Microsoft Translator API, Microsoft issues a unique "Microsoft Translator authentication key" (API key) through a user's Microsoft Azure account. Once you have been given an authentication key you can enter it in the Configuration dialog.

To bill charges for the use of the DeepL Pro API, DeepL issues a unique "DeepL Authentication Key" through a user's DeepL account. Once you have been given an API key ("Authentication Key") you can enter it in the Configuration dialog box.
"DeepL API free" An API key of the "DeepL API free" product allows a free DeepL usage.

Enter your personal API key issued by any or all of the available machine translation services in the Machine Translator's Configuration diaog. Your personal API key (or authentication key) allows RC-WinTrans' Machine Translator to connect to and use a given MT service. Usage will be billed to the MT service account through which the API key was issued.
