Resource Type Editors Property Page (Options Dialog Box)

 

The Resource Type Editors property page is is used to add or remove a resource type editor.

 

Use the Add button to open the Resource Type Editor dialog box (Figure 2) and specify a resource type editor (available as a VBA macro).  A listed editor can be opened using the appropriate commands in the RC-WinTrans user interface.

A resource type editor is specified by the following attributes:

Resource Type (Restype)

The resource type as it is defined in the XLIFF standard or by the user.

 

·

File Type

The file type as it is defined in the XLIFF standard or by the user.  The file type can also be set to [ All ] if it is not relevant.

 

·

Name

A (freely-editable) name to be used in the user interface (menu command).

 

·

Macro Project, Macro Module, and Macro Name

The macro that implements the resource type editor.

 

·

Allow direct editing without custom editor

Allows or disallows the manual (textual) editing of the resource type through the Translation Edit bar.
