Text Fit Tab View                                                             [Dialog Box View]

 

The Text Fit tab view (Dialog Box view) indicates whether the text of the currently selected dialog box item fits inside the borders of its control.  The tab also features commands used to resolve the text fit problem or to disable the text fit check for the selected control.

Commands

Dialog Item Groupbox

 

Size to Content Button

Sets the width of the selected dialog box control back to the width required by the control's caption text.

 

Settings Button

Opens the Size-to-Content Options dialog box where you can specify additional width to be applied between the dialog box control's text and its borders.

 

Size to Content Button

Sets the width of the selected dialog box control back to the width required by the control's caption text.

 

Open External .NET Editor Button

Opens the External .NET Forms Editor.

NOTE:  This command is only available if the selected dialog box is .NET Windows Form.

 

Undo Button

Undoes all changes made to the dialog box layout since the Save command was last used.

Text Fit Check Groupbox

 

Check Text Fit Button

Forces a text fit check for the selected dialog box control.

 

Settings Button

Opens the Text-Fit Options dialog box.

 

Enable checking Checkbox

Uncheck this option if you want to exclude the selected dialog box item from the text fit check. The check will skip the control and no errors will be reported for it.
