Source File  (Definition)

A source file is a file that is to be translated with RC-WinTrans.

Usually this is a file from a software project containing the text shown (at run-time) in the GUI of an application.

The file type of a source file can vary as long as there is a file converter available to permit the reading and writing of the file type in RC-WinTrans.

Exampes of source files include:

Win32 software:  RC, RC2, DLL, EXE.

.NET software:  RESX, DLL, EXE.

XML, INI, TXT.
