Markers

Temporary, or blue dot markers are used to identify items

affected by an executed command or operation.  These markers are temporary since the next operation always removes and replaces the previous ones (exception: the find function has the option of keeping existing markers throughout multiple operations).

Markers can be removed manually via the Remove Markers toolbar button (shown here, right) or by using the Remove Markers command in the Edit menu.

Use the Previous Marked Item and Next Marked Item toolbar buttons (shown left) and/or with the Previous Marked Item/Next Marked Item commands located in the Edit menu.
